The sculpture "Lithuanian Hound" in Telšiai commemorates the revival of the Lithuanian Hound breed and its founder, Zigmantas Goštautas. This work was created by sculptor Osvaldas Neniškis and architect Algirdas Žebrauskas. The Lithuanian Hound breed, known since the 14th century, had nearly disappeared by the 20th century, but Zigmantas Goštautas successfully revived it, although the first breed exhibition in 1981 was not held.
