On February 19, 2022, a sculpture of the famous Estonian writer Jaan Kross was unveiled in Tallinn's Old Town. Twice nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature, Kross is considered one of the most important figures in modern Estonian literature. His works, rooted in the country’s history, captivate with their insight and narrative mastery. The sculpture was erected to honor his contribution to Estonian culture and his role in bringing the nation’s history to life through literature.
