The Tallinn Museum of Orders is one of the most unique museums in Northern Europe, dedicated to the history of knightly orders and decorations. Located in a medieval building in Tallinn’s Old Town, the museum introduces visitors to over 1,000 exhibits from around the world – including order insignias, award cases, historical costumes, and even diamond-encrusted regalia. The permanent exhibition is divided into three halls, reflecting phaleristic traditions from Europe, America, Africa, and Asia. The museum also features unique artifacts that once belonged to historical figures such as Tsar Peter I of Russia and Empress Carlota of Mexico. Educational programs are also available for children and young collectors.
