The Kohtuotsa viewing platform, located in the Toompea district – the highest point of Tallinn’s Old Town – offers one of the most beautiful panoramas of the city. From here you can see red rooftops, medieval towers, modern skyscrapers, and even the sea. It is no coincidence that this is one of the most popular photo spots in Tallinn – countless Instagram shots come from here. The platform is loved by both tourists and locals, who come to enjoy sunsets or relax in the calm atmosphere. The best time to visit is around 11 a.m., when the Old Town with its towers and churches is beautifully illuminated by the sun.
