“Leucadia” is the memorial villa of poet Edvards Treimanis-Zvārgulis, located at the confluence of the Gauja and Rauna rivers—an authentic cultural site in Latvia. The poet lived here from 1919 until his death, and today visitors can explore a memorial room featuring his manuscripts and photographs. The villa was built in 1900 and later clad with local travertine. Next to the house lies the poet’s grave, marked with a monument designed by Kārlis Jansons. The impressive surroundings and the poet’s legacy make this a notable destination for cultural and literary tourism in Latvia.
