The Rauna Railway Bridge is the highest masonry bridge of its kind in the Baltic States, built in 1889. It stands 24 meters tall and spans nearly 79 meters. This impressive engineering structure is part of the Riga–Valka railway line and is notable for the fact that trains must cross it at exactly 80 km/h. The bridge witnessed the historic Battles of Cēsis in 1919, and scenes from the film Blizzard of Souls were filmed nearby. As a strategic infrastructure site, access is restricted – the best view is from the Cēsis–Valmiera road.
