Goat Cliff is one of the most impressive sandstone outcrops in Gauja National Park, located on the left bank of the Gauja River, about 1 km downstream from the mouth of the Rauna River. The cliff stretches about 340 meters in length and rises up to 15 meters in height. It is composed of reddish-yellow Gauja Suite sandstones typical of the region.
