In 2014, an unusual sculpture called "Marker" appeared in the old town of Mažeikiai, placed on a specially formed hill. It consists of a rust-covered metal rim, symbolizing the past, and a 1.40-meter-long stone element representing modernity. This artwork was a gift to the city from Pdstudija and sculptor Paulius Daujotas.
From the very beginning, "Marker" sparked discussions—its creator aimed not only to enrich the urban space but also to provoke thought. Over time, it has become an integral part of Mažeikiai's cultural scene, encouraging reflection on the role of art in everyday life.
