The unique M. Virbickienė Cinema Collection Museum enriches the cultural life of Raguva. Starting her career as a cinema mechanic in 1956, Marytė Virbickienė amassed an impressive collection of movie posters, film reels, actor photographs, cinema magazines, and various items related to the field. Remarkably, M. Virbickienė would personally transport cinema equipment and films by motorcycle to cultural centers and offices in Raguva, attracting up to 150 viewers. At the time, locals had limited access to cinema, as most did not own televisions. Films were screened daily, with exclusive premieres held on Fridays.
Today, visitors to the museum can explore records, film reel cases, figurines of movie heroes, as well as various antiques and old publications that reflect the history of cinema. This museum is a true treasure for those interested in the evolution of culture and cinema in Lithuania.
