Kuršiai Manor, located in Panevėžys district, Ramygala eldership, stands today as nothing more than crumbling ruins. Once a grand palace, built as early as the 16th century, it now serves as a reminder of past splendor—the remains of red brick walls on a stone foundation still catch the eye of passersby.
Although the manor's history is poorly documented, it is known that it was nationalized in 1940 and later abandoned after the war, eventually being completely looted. It is believed that local attitudes toward the manor were shaped by the events of 1862 when, following the abolition of serfdom, the army was deployed here to suppress rebellious peasants. Today, the remains of Kuršiai Manor are one of many forgotten historical sites in Lithuania, still visible along the Ramygala-Daniūnai road.
