The Kvēpene Nature Trail is an 11 km route for nature and history enthusiasts in Latvia. The journey starts at the old Raiskums chapel, winds through forest paths, and leads to the impressive Kvēpene Cave and spring. The trail continues over an ancient hillfort to the famous 500-year-old Kvēpene Oak, once depicted on the 5-lats banknote. A rest area with benches and toilets is located near the Gauja River. Along the way, hikers will encounter Rūsiņš Hill, offering scenic views and an opportunity to try meditative horse therapy. The trail is of moderate difficulty—visitors are advised to bring a flashlight and respect private property rules.
