The street art piece “I Came Back Home”, created by artist Tadas Plūgas Vincaitis at the end of 2018, adorns the facade at Pilies St. 4—symbolic “gates to Kaunas Old Town.” Depicting a girl returning home in the form of a bird, the mural was realized thanks to the NYKOKA festival competition and the initiative of the Kaunas Municipality. The fresco has become a cultural landmark and a popular attraction for tourists heading to Kaunas Castle or Town Hall Square.
