Palanga Sculpture Park, located at the intersection of Vytauto and J. Simpson Streets, is a space for art and relaxation. Established in 1982, the park now offers visitors the chance to admire 28 sculptures created by prominent Lithuanian and foreign artists, including K. Kisielius, B. Vyšniauskas, and A. Toleikis.
In 2008, the park was renovated, and in 2018, a permanent chess table was added to honor the folk artist Albertas Žulkus. In 2020, giant outdoor chess pieces were introduced, encouraging active recreation. This is a perfect spot for families, children, art and chess enthusiasts, and those seeking tranquility in the heart of Palanga.
