The Shovel Christmas Tree

In 2020, a unique sculpture made from 200 shovels was installed in Panevėžys. Resembling a virus bubble, it became a symbolic sign of farewell to the pandemic. The sculpture, created by Rimantas Kiela, was later transformed into a Christmas tree, decorated with wooden ornaments and details from old planks. Next to the tree, you can see a tree of keys, visit an art exhibition at the "Seklytė by the Ash Tree," and in the summer, enjoy community festivals or a fish soup cooking championship.
