The Panevėžys Evangelical Lutheran Church, built in 1850, is a unique cultural heritage site. This small wooden building, distinguished by its six columns and organ choir, was founded at the end of the 18th century when Count von Ropp established the parish. In 1940, the nationalized church lost its tower and was transformed into a dance hall, later becoming a store for agricultural goods. After 50 years, the Evangelical and Reformed communities restored it. Today, it is a listed cultural heritage site, reflecting the history of Panevėžys.
