In 1999, to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Rokiškis town, a monument was erected in the main square, becoming not only a significant gift to the city but also one of Rokiškis' key symbols. This artwork has seamlessly integrated into the square's space and become an attraction for both locals and tourists. The monument was crafted by a talented team of creators: Leonas Žuklys, Gediminas Žuklys, Elena Nijolė Bučiūtė, and Lada Markejevaitė. It is a place where the history, culture, and contemporary heritage of Rokiškis converge, inviting visitors to explore the city and its past.
