Geldėnai Cemetery, located near the village of Kruopiai, is a site of unique archaeological heritage dating from the 8th–12th centuries. Known as a burial site of the Curonian tribe, it is situated 500 meters from the Katupys stream. The site is easily accessible via Kaimynų Street and then turning onto a field path. Archaeological finds, such as spearheads and axes, indicate that both cremated and uncremated individuals were buried here. Geldėnai Cemetery, registered on February 25, 2015, has the unique object number 38320 and is an important cultural heritage site in Lithuania.
