This twin-towered Neo-Romanesque church with a rectangular plan and semi-circular apse stands in Skuodas. Within the churchyard, there is an authentic 19th-century brick bell tower, and the enclosure is made of a stone wall. In 1572, the Skuodas council mandated the construction of a new Catholic church, which was built in 1614 by Vilnius Voivode Jonas Karolis Katkevičius. In 1725, Prince Kazimieras Sapiega built another church, but it burned down in 1835. The current Roman Catholic church was constructed under the initiative of Tomas Sudimtas and was consecrated in 1850 by Bishop Motiejus Valančius. Between 1891 and 1896, farmers from the village of Lukniai cast authentic bells with decorative elements.
