Mural "Stronger Than Fear"

In 2024, during the initiative "Explore Utena Region with Family," an impressive mural titled "Stronger Than Fear," created by artist Eglė Narbutaitė, was unveiled near the Utena Cultural Center. This artwork depicts the strength of women and invites attention to a pressing issue—violence against women. Statistics in Lithuania show that nearly one in three women has experienced violence from their partner, yet many cases remain unreported.
This is one of three murals painted as part of the "Sisterhood Pathways" project. In addition to Lithuania, murals will also be created in Latvia and Poland, highlighting the theme of women's solidarity across the region.
