Utena Manor is an important site, considered the founder of the present-day city of Utena. In the 15th century, a settlement began to form between the Krašuona and Vyžuona rivers, where a church was built. This settlement and the surrounding lands were merged into a single administrative unit—the Utena Manor, which belonged to the Grand Duke of Lithuania. This manor was known as the Grand Duchy of Lithuania's table manor. Over the years, the manor's building changed locations, owners, and appearance.

In the 19th century, the manor was acquired by Aleksandras
Bolcevičius, who renovated the entire manor complex. Between the wars, the manor housed the “Saulė” gymnasium. Today, the renovated manor serves as the Utena Education Center and its branch—the regional STEAM open access center. At the STEAM center, students can delve into the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, conduct experiments, and create new projects. The community also has the opportunity to learn about scientific innovations and participate in various events that promote sustainable development ideas.
