Butautai Manor, established in 1750, has a rich history tied to brewing traditions. While the first owners are unknown, it is known that high-quality beer production began here. The love for brewing endured even through difficult historical periods. During World War II, the manor was burned down, but in 1979, the chairman of the Free Land Collective Farm, Petras Poškus, rebuilt it. The manor became a venue for celebrations, and beer production was resumed, supplying products to restaurants in Vilnius and Riga. After Poškus's death, the manor was abandoned.

In 2006, brewer Darius Vizbaras began the restoration of the manor and brewery. Tasting rooms were set up, where guests can sample locally brewed beer and drink kvass, while gourmet dishes and snacks are prepared upon request. Although tastings are not currently held, the manor's history and brewing traditions remain an essential part of Butautai Manor.
