The Professor Adomas Hrebnickis Homestead House-Museum is a magical place where many fruit tree varieties, including pineapple apples, originated. Today, it operates as a museum, hosts educational events, and welcomes visitors to its fragrant garden.
A branch of the Ignalina Region Museum, it is located in the small village of Rojaus, near Dūkštas in the Ignalina district, nestled in the shade of lush, century-old trees. Rojaus was established by Lithuania's most renowned pomologist of the time, Professor A. Hrebnickis of the St. Petersburg Forest Institute. He dedicated his life to the study of apple, pear, cherry, and plum varieties. His orchard housed a vast collection of fruit trees.
