The sculpture “Mama!..” is dedicated to all missing children. It symbolizes painful loss and reminds society not to forget – every child searches for their mother. The initiative was carried out by the Missing Persons' Families Support Center, driven by the mother of a missing boy who sought to honor not only her son but all missing children. The sculpture calls for care, attention to suspicious situations, and efforts to create a safer world. Each year, around 250,000 children go missing in Europe, and about 2,000 in Lithuania. May 25 – International Missing Children’s Day – reminds us that we all can help with prevention.
