The Pootsi-Kõpu Holy Trinity Orthodox Church is one of the most impressive churches in the Pärnu region, built in 1873 from natural stone and adorned with large domes. The church stands out for its Baroque style and the rare architectural choice of having no bell tower above the main entrance – an uncommon feature in Estonia. Architect G. Schell designed this structure, and similar churches were built following his plans, such as those in Lalsi and Ööriku. This site is an excellent choice for religious tourism and exploring Estonia’s historical heritage for those seeking authentic landmarks.
