The Seliste Orthodox Church, built in 1864, is a rare example of a wooden Orthodox sanctuary in Estonia. The building features a simple architectural style and an unadorned interior. Above the western entrance rises an octagonal tower with an onion-shaped dome. Interestingly, the church was transported from Riga across the frozen sea and assembled here by monks.
