The Lithuanian Army Uniforms Museum, established by enthusiasts D. Ponomarenka and A. Jurkša, tells an important part of Lithuania's history related to military uniforms and their evolution. The first exhibition, "Lithuanian Army Uniforms from 1990 to the Present," was held in 2018 at the Kaunas Fortress, marking the anniversary of March 11th, and since then, the museum has become a significant witness of history. A. Jurkša, a long-time military serviceman, was able to reveal how uniforms, their attributes, and symbolism changed over time, providing a unique perspective on the Lithuanian army. The founders of the museum, with their personal enthusiasm and resources, collected the first exhibits and began expanding the collection. At the same time, they aimed to

create a space where people could listen to stories, discuss, and learn more about the history of their country's military. The museum, which became a public institution in 2021, continues to grow and gain popularity. The biggest challenge is finding exhibits, as many items have been lost over time and are difficult to acquire, but with the help and support of others, the museum continues its work. One of the most important future goals is to bring people together and encourage their interest in Lithuanian history and the military. The museum also organizes various events, such as hikes, educational programs in schools, and exhibitions. One of the most interesting events is the "Lithuanian Soldiers' Path" hiking tour, which attracts more participants each year.
