The "Green Apple" sculpture in Vilnius is a symbol of kindness and charity, honoring those who have contributed to helping and supporting others. Weighing eight tons, this green granite sculpture was brought from India and unveiled in 2011 to pay tribute to the city's benefactors.
Created by sculptor Romas Kvintas, the project was initiated by Edita Mildažytė and the Bėdų turgus foundation. The monument bears the names of historical and contemporary philanthropists, including the Pacas, Radvila, and Chodkiewicz families, as well as Alma Adamkienė, Agnė Zuokienė, the Landsbergis family, and Antanas Guoga. This site serves as a reminder of selfless assistance to others.
