Kreivėnai Windmill is a unique historical site in the Tauragė region, representing the area's technical heritage. Before World War II, there were two windmills operating in the windy Kreivėnai area. One of them, a cap-style brick windmill, has survived to this day, although it no longer contains its functional parts. The design of this windmill was adapted for convenience—two openings were built under the structure, allowing carts loaded with grain to enter and leave with flour. The Kreivėnai Windmill is the only windmill of this type remaining in Lithuania. It can be seen while traveling along the Tauragė-Tilžė road towards Pagėgiai, on the right side of the road. This site not only serves as a reminder of the history of technology but also enriches the cultural heritage of the Tauragė region.
