The Saugai Evangelical Lutheran Church was built between 1845 and 1848 from red bricks. Tall, massive, and rectangular in design with a small tower, it was consecrated in 1857. The church featured a unique combined altar-pulpit structure, a 14-register organ, and a single bell. After the war, the church was restored and continues to host services to this day.
The chapel in the churchyard was adapted for Catholic worship in 1947, becoming St. Casimir’s Church. This low, rectangular chapel features three altars.
