The Degučiai Church of St. Vincent Ferrer is a unique triangular wooden church in Europe, symbolizing the Holy Trinity. This Baroque sanctuary was built in 1760 through the efforts of Tadas Bilevičius, the elder of Vainutas. The church's interior features three Baroque altars, with the Great Altar standing out due to its Rococo decorations and wooden sculptures of St. Barbara and St. Helena. In the churchyard, there is a chapel, a cross adorned with folk sculptures, and a bell tower clad in wooden planks.

Despite remaining largely unchanged over 250 years, the church has undergone several restorations. In 2011, a historical inscription was discovered on the ceiling beam, now preserved as part of the church’s heritage.

The Degučiai Church of St. Vincent Ferrer is an exceptional example of sacred architecture in Europe, notable for its triangular layout symbolizing the Holy Trinity. Built in 1760 through the efforts of Tadas Bilevičius, its main patrons were Adomas Bilevičius and Bogumila Budrikaitė. Over its long history, the church has been restored three times: in 1840, at the end of the 19th century, and between 1923–1938. During the 2011 restoration, an inscription was uncovered detailing the church’s interior painting after 1984, preserved as an important piece of heritage. of St. Barbara and St. Helena, creates a stunning artistic ensemble. The church also houses 18th-century paintings, including the revered image of St. Vincent, mentioned in an 1814 inventory alongside votive offerings. The churchyard is surrounded by a stone fence incorporating two gates. A wooden cross with folk sculptures, a chapel, and a four-sided bell tower clad in wooden planks add to the sacred atmosphere. A distinctive feature of the church is its pulpit, which incorporates a confessional at its base to conserve space within the modest interior. The Degučiai Church is not only an architectural gem but also a cultural heritage treasure, attracting visitors interested in Lithuania’s sacred art and history.
