Salantai Millennium of Lithuania Monument

On August 2, 2009, marking the 1000th anniversary of Lithuania's name, the Salantai community (led by V. Butkus) unveiled an impressive monument. Weighing approximately 3 tons, the structure consists of two natural granite stones, a metal emblem representing Lithuania's millennium, and a delicate forged cross. This monument symbolizes Lithuania's history and the unity of its community, becoming a significant cultural and historical landmark in Salantai.
