Vilkaviškis Former Manor Estate Palace

The Vilkaviškis Manor is a significant cultural heritage site first mentioned in 1660. Historically connected to the rulers of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, it is referenced in a 1679 privilege by John III Sobieski, which noted the subordination of the Jewish kahal to the manor. In the 18th century, the manor was visited by Kazimierz Sapieha, and in 1730, the Vilkaviškis eldership was entrusted to Tekla Radvilaitė Wiśniowiecka.
Today, the manor is not open to visitors, but its historical importance remains profound.
