Anchor of the Minesweeper Sūduvis

In 1999, the municipality of Vilkaviškis christened the Lithuanian Navy minesweeper Sūduvis (M52), designed for naval mine detection. After more than 20 years of service, the ship completed its mission on August 20, 2021. As a symbol of maritime heritage and friendship, the Lithuanian Armed Forces gifted Vilkaviškis a 400 kg anchor—the "heart" of the ship.
