The Daujėnai Pentecost is a centuries-old tradition of annual indulgences that attracts pilgrims even from distant Samogitia. Starting on Pentecost, the indulgences traditionally lasted for an entire week, with the most devout pilgrims walking several kilometers on their knees to the shrine. The Daujėnai Pentecost indulgences remain an important event today, drawing many visitors from Pasvalys and returning locals from all over Lithuania.
