Notable personalities such as Sofia Smetonienė, wife of Lithuania's first president Antanas Smetona, and the famous writer and social activist Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė, both connected to the Chodakauskas family,
lived and visited here. In 1928, a distinctive arched bridge over the Mūša River was constructed on the road leading to the manor, with President Antanas Smetona himself attending the opening ceremony. This highlights the importance Vytartai Manor held for Lithuanian society at that time. From 1931 to 1968, Vytartai Manor housed a school, showing that its premises were adapted to serve both public and educational needs. Although the manor is now privately owned, its historical and cultural significance remains alive.
