The monument honors partisans Bronius Jurčius, Bernardas and Petras Paulius, Jonas Salys, and Juozas Sodžius, who perished in the Salantai area between 1946 and 1947. A memorial composition dedicated to their memory was installed in the old Klecininkai-Peščiai Cemetery in Klecininkai Village.
The monument was erected in 1997 through the initiative of the Lithuanian Nationalist Union's Kretinga branch. The design was created by engineer Vytautas Valiukonis. This site stands as a reminder of the courage and sacrifice in the fight for Lithuania's freedom, inviting visitors to pause, reflect, and honor the fallen.
