The Pušalotas Church, notable for its wooden folk architecture, was erected in 1853. Thanks to the efforts of landowner Franciszek Karpius and the community, the church was expanded and enriched with a brick bell tower. From 1855 to 1862, the renowned Lithuanian cultural promoter and folklore collector Antanas Juška served here, contributing to the church's renovation and the construction of the rectory. In 1882, the church acquired an organ, enhancing its liturgical ceremonies with music.
