Pūkštės Hill, located in Kruopiai village, Barstyčiai parish, Skuodo district, is a geomorphological natural monument and part of the territory of Žemaitija National Park. The hill extends in an east-west direction, with a height of 15 meters from its base, a length of 150 meters, and a width of 90 meters. Covering an area of 10.218 hectares, Pūkštės Hill is also part of the Alkakalnis protection zone. It was declared a natural monument in 1997. Previously, a triangulation tower stood at the summit, and this location is considered the highest point in Skuodo district—171 meters above sea level.

in Skuodo district—171 meters above sea level. The hill is known not only for its natural value but also for its historical legends. It is said that during the 1794 Tadeusz Kościuszko Uprising, a military school for Lithuanian and Polish soldiers was established here. The tower at the summit helped the insurgents monitor Russian movements, and after a lost battle, nine barrels of gold were hidden. Locals also believe that the hill was the site of a castle ruled by Pokštas, and that spirits roam here at night, frightening treasure hunters.
