In Jedžiotai village, Aleksandrija subdistrict, Skuodas district, the Mediškiai Oak stands impressively large, with a trunk circumference of 4.24 meters at 1.3 meters height. This oak is located on the former site of K. Zenonas' homestead, next to a pond. The area used to be surrounded by dense forests rich in oak trees. The name of the oak is derived from the word "medė," meaning forest. In 2019, the Mediškiai Oak was officially recognized as a protected natural heritage site by Skuodas district municipality, making it an important attraction for both natural and cultural tourism.
