The burial site of the fighters from the June 1941 Uprising, Lithuanian partisans, and resistance members (ID 25036) in the Ylakiai district honors the memory of freedom fighters. Here lie those who fought against the Soviet army in June 1941 and the partisans and supporters who later perished during Soviet repression from 1946 to 1953. In 1995, alongside the uprising fighters’ graves, the remains of an additional 18 partisans were reburied. This location is a state-protected site, symbolizing the spirit of the resistance struggles.
