In the southern part of Ylakiai town lies a site commemorating tragic historical events—where, in 1941, 446 Jewish residents, 25 Lithuanians, and 4 Karaites were killed. The massacre site and burial place are located 60 meters east of the Ylakiai–Kadžiai road and 55 meters north of the old Jewish cemetery. The area spans 0.02 hectares, bordered by a concrete edging, and features concrete structures along with an entry gate with a 3.5-meter arch. At the center stands a stone altar, accessible via a path paved with concrete tiles. This site is recognized as a protected state heritage object (ID 21805).
