Vytartai Manor, located in the picturesque bend of the Mūša River near Pasvalys, is an important part of Lithuania's history and culture. Since the mid-19th century, when it was acquired by the nobleman Aleksandras Chodakauskas, the manor became a significant meeting place for local aristocracy and cultural figures. Notable personalities such as Sofia Smetonienė, wife of Lithuania's first president Antanas Smetona, and the famous writer and social activist Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė, both connected to the Chodakauskas family, lived and visited here.
