Veitelių Mound, also known as Pilalė, stands on the right bank of the Vereta River, near the confluence with the Kalotė. Its oval-shaped platform, oriented east-west, measures 65x42 meters, with steep slopes reaching 3-4 meters in height. Archaeological findings, such as stone axes and other artifacts, have been discovered on this mound. It dates back to the 1st millennium to the 13th century and is now partially covered with trees and shrubs. It can be reached by traveling along the Ylakiai–Gėsalai road and following signs and local landmarks. In 1993, Veitelių Mound was included in the Register of Immovable Cultural Heritage with the code 16172.
