Aštrioji Kirsna Manor is one of the largest manors in the Užnemunė region, featuring 19 buildings surrounded by a historic park with varied terrain. The manor is distinguished by its unique layout where the representative and economic parts merge, encircled by bodies of water and numerous park elements. The architecture of the buildings reflects styles from the Classicism, Romanticism, and other periods. The history of the manor dates back to 1506, when the Grand Duke of Lithuania, Alexander, gifted this land to a noble. Over the centuries, the manor was owned by various families, and in the 19th
century, Benediktas Bonifacas Karenga reconstructed the palace in the Classicism style and formed an English-type park. Later, the Gavronski family managed the estate, adapting the structures for agricultural needs. At the beginning of the 20th century, the manor was purchased by Vladislovas Antanas Kraučiūnas, who established an agricultural school. During the Soviet era, the manor was nationalized, but after the restoration of Lithuania's independence, it was returned to the Kraučiūnas family. Since 2001, new owners have been taking care of it, seeking to revive the manor’s heritage.
