Monument to Vytautas the Great in Kuktiškės

In commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the death of Grand Duke Vytautas the Great, a monument was erected in the town of Kuktiškės in 1930. It was located near the former smithy and the old dairy, and the construction of the monument was initiated by the Catholic Action Center (KVC). The concrete monument is adorned with a cross and the inscription “KVC 1430-1930 Vytautas the Great,” honoring the history of Lithuania.
