Šatrija is one of the most visited hills in Samogitia, located near the town of Luokė. The hill rises 228 meters above sea level, with its slopes reaching over 25 meters in height. It is an important archaeological monument, dating back to the 1st–2nd millennium AD. There was once a wooden fortress on this hill, surrounded by an ancient settlement.
The hill is renowned not only for its historical significance but also for its stunning Samogitian landscapes, offering views of Medvėgalis, Girgždūtė, and other regional hills. Additionally, a reconstructed altar on the hill hosts annual pagan festivals.
