The neo-Romanesque style church built in 1936 in Biržai is one of the most impressive architectural landmarks in the region. Designed by the renowned architect Feliksas Vizbaras, the building features modern architectural elements. The church has a rectangular plan with a narrower apse and low sacristies, and is a single-tower structure with reinforced concrete ceilings. Inside, it has three naves separated by pillars and three altars, which create a unique atmosphere for this sacred building. The churchyard fence, like the church itself, is made of stone masonry, emphasizing the architectural
integrity and cultural significance of the region. Construction began in 1927 and was completed on September 20, 1936, when Bishop Kazimieras Paltarokas consecrated the church in the name of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is important to note the efforts of Pastor J. Bardišauskas, who, during the church's construction, also built a new rectory, a shelter, and a masonry parish house with a hall and stage. In 1937, three bells cast in Germany were installed in the church, which continue to adorn and amplify the significance of this remarkable structure.
