In the village of Juodeliai stands a mound less than 10 meters high, known as Devil's Hill or Devil's Castle, which undoubtedly catches the eye. This mound is unique because one side is washed by the Apaščia River, while the other side is bordered by water-filled depressions, creating a distinctive landscape.
It is believed that Devil's Hill may have served as a hill fort protecting the ancient Vilnius-Riga road. This historic site is also adorned with an impressive wooden sculpture of the Devil, adding further mystery and charm to the location.
