In Juodkrantė, next to the "Kuršių Kiemas" guesthouse, stands a monument dedicated to the renowned German archaeologist, ethnographer, linguist, Baltic studies scholar, and professor at the University of Königsberg, Adalbert Bezzenberger (1851–1922).
Adalbert Bezzenberger was a frequent visitor to Juodkrantė, deeply interested in the Curonian Spit and the Lithuanian language.
The artwork was created in 2017 by Kęstutis Musteikis.
