At the Mizgiris Amber Museum, amber is presented in artistic forms, while scientific knowledge about it is conveyed through interactive means. The main concept of the museum—the history of amber's journey from nature to culture—is revealed through the amber tree forest and river. The museum's exhibit gains its unique appeal from a rich collection of rare ambers and art pieces, complemented by a virtual narrative. Specially installed screens display a 3D film about the formation of amber and the amber tree forest that existed approximately 40-50 million years

ago. An internal multimedia bridge provides knowledge about the formation of the Curonian Spit. The exhibit includes a practical activity area where artistic expression techniques reveal the main physical and healing properties of amber, and touchscreen displays allow visitors to browse a virtual amber encyclopedia. The museum also showcases ambers from various countries around the world. On the second-floor gallery, works by professional Lithuanian and foreign artists are exhibited. The shop offers a selection of jewelry and art pieces for purchase.
